This 43 Albin Trawler is a classic trunk cabin design with full walk around side decks and a distinctive trawler profile. She is built on a full displacement hull with a deep keel that gives her excellent sea keeping ability and security while under way that all will appreciate. Her construction is solid fiberglass; her teak decks were removed and replaced in 2012. She now has fiberglass decks that are leak free. Her hull had a full blister repair job completed in 2012 as well. Aluminum fuel tanks were installed by a previous owner. New electronics were installed in 2012.
Inside, her galley-down layout insures a spacious salon and particularly generous aft cabin accommodations. Storage, interior lighting, helm visibility, and deck access are all excellent. She is powered by two low hour economical Ford Lehman 120 diesels that burn about 2.5 GPH at 8 knots.
I’ll rate this boat fair because she needs some woodworking inside to replace some teak that was damaged from previous water leakage; I have been given an estimate of about $5,000.00 to complete. She could use a good compounding or even a paint job to make her cosmetically like new.
We have her priced to sell. Bring all offers.
