Broker Comments
This 58' Monk trawler is a passagemaker with traditional lines, and all teak hardwood interior. She has been owned by her owner for over 20 years who has cruised her to the Islands annually. She comes equipped with a single main engine, a get-home engine, AC generator and a DC generator. She's equipped with 3 staterooms, two baths, two water makers, propane cooking, air conditioning, solar panels, and a wind generator and more.
One of the most important features of this vessel is her liveability. The present owners have her set up to live on the hook for months at a time.
This is a very clean boat inside and out and shows quite well. The interior woodwork joinery is impressive.
A few new electronics is about all you will need to do to make her ready to cruise. The owner has prepared and signed a Seller's Disclosure certifying the condition of his boat; highlights are:
- Full blister repair in 1988 with West System Epoxy

- New bottom paint in March 2008
- Standing rigging replaced within 2 years
I'll be glad to send the complete Disclosure to serious buyers.
