Two weeks ago I received an email from a man from Singapore who had read about me on the website. He asked my opinion about two boats that I did not have. I responded and gave him my thoughts. We conversed for the next few days via email about boats, styles, qualities, etc. Tomorrow morning, I'm picking him up at Jacksonville International Airport at 0830. I've arranged for him to look at 10 motoryachts from Hilton Head, SC to Jacksonville, FL.
He plans to preview all of the boats and pick out the model and style he likes best. After he leaves on Saturday, I'll continue to locate the best boat available, negotiate the best price for him, survey it, sea trial it and have it shipped to him in Singapore. He'll never see the boat until it reaches him.
So there you have it. If boat buying has you all wrapped up in a knot, there is an easier way.

I located my customer in Singapore a nice 36' Meridian and helped him buy it. I arranged for their shipping and helped skipper the boat through the Florida Keys to Ft. Lauderdale. You can read about this on the Paradise Yachts Blog
When he recieved it in Singapore in June it was the first time he had seen it. He was very pleased with my selection and delivery. October 26th, 2008, I heard from him last week and he and the boat are doing fine.

Today I met with a buyer and his wife from France.
We have located 5, 42 Grand Banks boats in Florida and today we'll begin the process of looking at them to determine which boat he wishes to buy. Once he choose the boat, we'll buy it and I'll survey and sea trial it for him. He plan on keeping the boat in the US for a year or so, cruising each winter, them ship it to France.
Today, October 29th and we've got an agreement from the seller and buyer on a bristol 42 Grand Banks trawler.

We closed on the Grand Banks today; the new owners are flying over on December, 7th to take delivery of their new boat. I'm meeting them there and will cruise with them for a few days across Lake Okeechobee to the East coast.
