History

Norman commissioned the 228ft yacht "Aussie Rules", built by the Australian ferry builder Austal/Oceanfast.  She has set the standard for superyachts; even golf legend Tiger Woods boat, the 155 foot Christensen does not compare.  Built of aluminum, she cruises at 15 knots with a range of 8,000 Nm. The boat cost $70 million, and her builder lost $18 million building her. The boat was sold by Norman in 2004 for a rumored $77 million to the founder of Blockbuster Video, Wayne Huizenga, who renamed her the M/Y Floridian.  Huizenger in turn sold her to an unknown buyer. She is now known as Nomad and available for charter at a reported  $500 000 per week.

Luxury motor yacht NOMAD (ex Floridian and Aussie Rules)  underwent a refit in mid 2005, and is available for charter in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean waters. NOMAD has been beautifully designed for long range exploration and comfortable cruising. She is very impressive offering a huge collection of toys, tenders, fishing and dive equipment.
